Anuj Malhotra is a landscape architect and urban development technocrat with over 23 years of experience shaping large-scale city transformation projects across India. He currently serves as Head of Planning and Urban Development at Srinagar Smart City Limited, where he leads initiatives including the Srinagar Riverfront, Lal Chowk reimagination, complete streets, placemaking projects, and a city water transport system—together representing over ₹1000 crore in development. Anuj has advised the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Government of Delhi on decongestion, transit-oriented development, and public realm design, and has contributed to national policy frameworks such as the Urban Road Code, Delhi’s decongestion plan, and bicycle-sharing guidelines. Known for integrating planning, transport, landscape, and stakeholder engagement, his work focuses on building sustainable, people-centric urban systems at scale.
